Artist Babbu embarked on a creative journey by transforming a found object into a sculpture of a hand. She meticulously created a mold of the object and casted it using Ultracal 30. After sculpting and refining the initial cast, Babbu recasted it, ultimately producing an edition of 50 hands. Each hand carries the artist's personal touch and represents a profound exploration of the human form and its expressive potential. The collection invites viewers to contemplate the significance of the human hand in relation to emotions and experiences. Each hand in the collection is meticulously sanded, hand-painted, and coated with a light layer of gloss resin by the artist. These processes enhance the visual appeal, protect the artwork, and showcase the artist's skill and attention to detail.
